Last night we had a productive meeting of the MSUEEA minds--we scheduled our first "get to know each other" event for October 7th. We also established a presence in the English Club (Will is the Community Activities Coordinator). Thanks to all who made it to the meeting!
The Bozeman School District is looking for volunteers to tutor, converse, and generally help students in the adult literacy and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) programs. If you are interested, contact is Mary at 585-8673. The announcement indicates that you can work this in around your schedule and training will be provided. This is a great way to learn about how you can help ESL students in your future classrooms...not to mention a resume builder!
